Spirit Walker has been a long standing project of mine, i have put like 30+ days into this.  The opening moves are the hardest with sustained power moves all the way to the end.  Ten moves in total.  For sure the hardest boulder problem I have ever done.  This one could weigh in at v14.

Chad Parkinson showed me this amazing boulder at Joes Valley, I have been looking at it from the road for years, but for some reason never thought it was all that big.  Whatever it was keeping me from it, well that all changed.  Hiking to it for the first time i was awe struck!  This boulder is  perfect, steep, cool features, and oh, it is huge!  Working on the landing with friends, we finally got the fall zone up to par.  I had spent several winter days in the bitter cold fine tuning my sequence to send the majestic problem.

Blood Meridian v13, is located at Bishop CA on the Grandpa peebody boulder.  This line (about 20 ft right of Evilution) is a crimp monster that ends 3/4 up on he massive overhang on the Jug plate.  I was eyeing the line winter of 07/08.  I cleaned the dirt behind the little crimps and began to work the moves.  I showed the line to Matt Birch as I was leaving for home.
